Large parrot statue from the 1963 movie, Fun in Acapulco, starring Elvis Presley and Ursula Andress. Base is @8″ by 6″; @ 14 1/2″ high. The Certificate of Authenticity (COA) says it is ceramic, and it looks ceramic, but I think it is some sort of molded plastic. It is lighter weight and less fragile than ceramic. Whatever it is, it is spectacular!
This is a fabulous statue – colorful and full of character. It is in very good condition, showing little wear from age or production use. It would make a wonderful addition to an Elvis Presley or Fun in Acapulco collection!
The statue was obtained from Ellis Props, once one of the largest prop supply companies in the country, whose original COA accompanies it. Also included is a Certificate of Authenticity from The Prop Master, including our 110% Authenticity Guarantee.
